First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026
Summary
This small pilot study tested whether adding group-based pain neuroscience education (PNE) to a community exercise program could help older women with knee osteoarthritis. Nineteen women aged 60 and older took part in either exercise alone or exercise plus five PNE sessions. The study looked at whether the program was feasible and if it improved pain, daily function, and understanding of pain.
