Can getting fit before surgery improve cancer recovery?
NCT ID NCT06565052
Summary
This study is testing whether a special exercise and nutrition program before surgery helps people with rectal cancer. About 40 participants will be randomly assigned to either follow this 'prehabilitation' program or receive usual care. The main goal is to see if the program is practical to run and if it leads to better recovery after surgery.
