Can a Pre-Surgery fitness plan boost recovery from esophageal cancer?
NCT ID NCT06872515
Summary
This study is testing whether a pre-surgery program of exercise and nutrition supplements is practical and helpful for adults with esophageal cancer. Researchers want to see if this 'prehabilitation' improves patients' strength and well-being before and after their major surgery. They will compare the program to standard medical care to understand its impact on recovery.
