First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether a 12-week home-based exercise program, started soon after diagnosis, improves walking distance and quality of life in people with pulmonary hypertension. Forty participants will either exercise early or wait six months. The goal is to see if exercise plus medication works better than medication alone.

What this could lead to
If it works, this could show that starting exercise soon after diagnosis improves walking ability and quality of life for people with pulmonary hypertension.
