NCT ID NCT07360665
First seen Jan 24, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study is testing whether a 24-week supervised exercise program (a mix of aerobic, strength, and flexibility exercises) can improve physical fitness, mood, and quality of life in 44 adults with psychosis who are already on long-acting injectable medication. Participants will be split into an exercise group or a usual-care group, and researchers will measure changes in body composition, muscle strength, depression symptoms, and blood markers like BDNF. The goal is to see if adding structured exercise to routine psychiatric care is practical and beneficial.
