Home workouts tested to fight prostate cancer in black men

NCT ID NCT05918263

Summary

This study is testing whether a 16-week home exercise program can slow the progression of prostate cancer in Black men who are on active surveillance (monitoring without immediate treatment). Researchers want to see if high-intensity interval training (HIIT) can help control cancer growth better than usual care. The study focuses on Black men because they face higher risks of prostate cancer progression but have been underrepresented in exercise research.
