Summary
This small, early-stage study tested whether adding daily bodyweight exercises to hospital care is practical and helpful for patients with type 2 diabetes or prediabetes. Researchers wanted to see if this exercise could improve blood sugar control, physical strength, and recovery during a hospital stay. The study was terminated early after enrolling only 4 participants.
