Walking away from distress: simple exercise may lift spirits for dialysis patients
NCT ID NCT07083843
Summary
This study tested whether a simple, home-based exercise program could help reduce feelings of depression and anxiety in people undergoing long-term kidney dialysis. Over 50 patients were split into two groups: one followed a 6-month exercise plan, while the other received their usual care. Researchers then compared changes in their mental health scores to see if regular exercise made a meaningful difference.
