Can a 12-Week workout plan sharpen your mind and control diabetes?
NCT ID NCT06401733
Summary
This study tested whether a 12-week intensive exercise program could improve thinking skills, blood sugar control, and overall health in middle-aged and older adults with type 2 diabetes. Researchers enrolled 58 participants, some of whom were at higher risk for memory and thinking problems. The goal was to see if combining aerobic and strength training could help manage both diabetes and its potential effects on the brain.
