Sweat for your brain: intense workouts tested to fight chemo fog

NCT ID NCT04724499

Summary

This study is testing whether a 16-week high-intensity interval training (HIIT) exercise program can help improve memory, focus, and thinking skills in women undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer. Researchers will compare the exercise group to a control group doing gentle stretching to see if HIIT improves both brain function and heart health. The goal is to find a way to ease the common 'chemo brain' symptoms that affect many patients during treatment.
