Can exercise speed recovery from bipolar depression?
NCT ID NCT05340686
Summary
This study is testing if adding supervised aerobic exercise to standard medication helps people with bipolar depression recover faster and prevents future episodes. It will involve 54 participants who are randomly assigned to either an exercise group, a relaxation group, or an information-only group for six weeks. The researchers will measure changes in mood, physical health, and biological markers to see if exercise provides extra benefits.
