First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looks at how different exercise routines—moderate, vigorous, or short but intense—affect inflammation in the body. Researchers will measure changes in blood cells before and after exercise in 33 overweight but otherwise healthy adults aged 18 to 45 who do not currently exercise regularly. The goal is to understand which type of exercise might best reduce inflammation and lower the risk of heart disease.
