NCT ID NCT05203731

First seen Mar 03, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a session of exercise, compared to sitting, helps adults with high anxiety sensitivity and anxiety disorders (like generalized anxiety, panic, or social anxiety) better learn to overcome fear. Fifty-four participants took part in a controlled experiment measuring skin responses and heart rate. The goal was to understand how exercise might improve fear extinction learning, not to test a treatment.
