New study checks if CF drugs improve exercise breathing
NCT ID NCT07314229
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looks at how often people with cystic fibrosis who take the drug combination ETI (Elexacaftor-Tezacaftor-Ivacaftor) have trouble breathing during exercise. Researchers will measure breathing during a 6-minute walk test and a step test. The goal is to understand if these drugs help with exercise, not to test a new treatment. About 130 adults from two French hospitals will take part.
