Summary

This study looks at how different types of cycling (forced vs. voluntary) affect movement, thinking, and brain activity in 36 people with advanced Parkinson's disease who already have deep brain stimulation devices. Researchers want to understand why aerobic exercise helps Parkinson's symptoms. Participants will be asked to temporarily stop their medication and DBS for some tests.
