First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looked at whether regular impact exercise, like jumping and running, helps young girls build stronger bones. Over 500 girls in 4th and 6th grade were followed for two years. Researchers measured bone density and strength to see if active girls had healthier bones than those who were less active.
