First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests whether a 12-week exercise program (aerobic and strength training) helps people recover after heart surgery, such as valve replacement or bypass. 76 adults will be split into two groups: one does the program, the other gets usual care. Researchers will measure quality of life, daily function, and exercise ability at the start, middle, and end of the program.
