Summary

This study tested whether giving the drug EXACYL before surgery can reduce bleeding during and after corrective jaw surgery (orthognathism). 157 adults with healthy blood levels took part. Half received EXACYL, half a placebo. The goal was to see if the drug safely lowers blood loss and improves surgeon comfort.
