Scientists hunt for clues to stop dangerous immunotherapy side effects
NCT ID NCT05331066
Summary
This study aims to understand why some cancer patients develop serious side effects from immunotherapy drugs called checkpoint inhibitors. Researchers will follow 200 patients with solid tumors, collecting blood and stool samples before and during treatment to look for biological warning signs. The goal is to learn how to predict which patients are at risk for these harmful reactions.
