First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study follows 155 adults with severe asthma who are starting tezepelumab, a new biologic drug. Researchers will track symptom control, quality of life, and lung function over two years in real-life clinics across Greece. The goal is to see how well the drug works outside of strict trial conditions.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
tezepelumab
What this could lead to
If successful, this study could show that tezepelumab helps control severe asthma symptoms and improves quality of life in real-world settings, supporting its wider use.
What could go wrong
This is an observational study, not a controlled trial, so results may be less definitive. It only includes patients in Greece, which may limit how well findings apply elsewhere.
