Summary
This study tested a special balloon coated with the drug everolimus to treat blockages in the leg arteries. The balloon is inflated to open the artery and release the drug to help keep it from narrowing again. 75 people with blocked leg arteries took part. The goal was to see if the balloon is safe and effective at keeping the arteries open.
