First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tested whether a personalized, precision medicine approach—using extensive lab tests to create an individual treatment plan—could improve memory better than standard care in people with mild cognitive impairment or early-stage dementia. 73 adults aged 45-76 took part over 9 months. The goal was to see if tailoring treatments to each person's underlying issues leads to better cognitive outcomes.
