New scope technique could tame hidden belly aneurysms without major surgery
NCT ID NCT07490678
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at a new, less invasive way to treat aneurysms in the arteries that supply the stomach, liver, and spleen. Instead of traditional surgery or X-ray-guided procedures, doctors will use an endoscope with ultrasound to guide tiny coils and glue directly into the aneurysm. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and works well for 30 adults aged 18-60.
