First seen Feb 25, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looked at two types of nerve blocks—ESP block and paravertebral block—to see which one helps patients recover better after video-assisted lung surgery (VATS). Sixty adults were included, and their recovery quality was measured 24 hours after surgery using a standard questionnaire (QoR-15). The goal was to find which block leads to less pain and a smoother early recovery.
