NCT ID NCT06676449

First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This phase 3 trial tests whether adding immunotherapy to a special type of radiation (that spares tumor-draining lymph nodes) plus chemotherapy works better than radiation and chemotherapy alone for adults with advanced esophageal squamous cell cancer. About 432 participants will receive either the combination or standard treatment. The study aims to see if the new approach delays cancer progression and improves survival.
