First seen Feb 16, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a nasal spray called esketamine, combined with a short type of talk therapy, can quickly reduce suicidal thoughts in people with hard-to-treat depression. About 56 adults aged 18 to 70 who still have suicidal thoughts despite prior treatment will be enrolled. Researchers will compare the combo treatment to esketamine alone to see which works better after one week.
