First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study is testing an online program called eSense-Cancer, designed to help people who have had gynecologic cancer with sexual health concerns. The program uses cognitive-behavioural therapy and includes 8 modules to be completed over 8-16 weeks. Researchers want to see if it reduces sexual distress and improves function and satisfaction. The study involves 60 participants and is currently recruiting.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
online cognitive-behavioural therapy program
What this could lead to
If successful, this could provide a widely accessible online tool to help gynecologic cancer survivors manage sexual health concerns, especially for those in remote areas or with limited access to care.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage study with only 60 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The program requires internet access and English fluency, which may limit who can benefit.
