First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looked at whether an electronic self-report screening system (eScreening) helps find mental health problems like depression, PTSD, and suicide risk more quickly in veterans who recently joined VA care. Researchers compared eScreening to the usual screening process in 72 veterans. The goal was to see if eScreening leads to faster and more complete detection, and better follow-up care.
