Summary
This study tests whether a nerve block called the erector spinae plane block can reduce abdominal pain in people with gastrointestinal cancer. Researchers will compare opioid use and hospital stay length between 25 patients who get the block and a matched group who received standard care. The goal is to see if this procedure can offer effective pain relief with fewer opioids.
