Targeted drug trial aims to halt advanced cancers by blocking key growth signal

NCT ID NCT06308822

Summary

This study is testing a targeted drug called erdafitinib in patients with advanced cancers that have a specific genetic change (FGFR amplification). The drug works by blocking a faulty protein that tells cancer cells to grow. The trial aims to see if the drug can shrink tumors or stop them from progressing in patients whose cancers have not responded to other treatments.
