Summary

This study tested whether a mobile phone app could help parents and caregivers of children with epilepsy. 72 participants in Canada were randomly assigned to either use the educational app for 7 weeks or receive standard clinic information. Researchers measured if using the app increased parents' knowledge about epilepsy and reduced their anxiety.
