Summary

This study aims to find specific epigenetic markers in the blood of elderly patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Researchers will analyze DNA from blood samples of 30 AML patients and compare them to samples from healthy older adults undergoing heart surgery. The goal is to better understand the disease, not to test a treatment.
