First seen Apr 05, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving people with heart disease, asthma, or COPD real-time air quality information on their phone helps them avoid pollution while exercising outdoors. About 80 adults will use a special app that tracks their activity and local pollution levels. The goal is to see if this approach is practical and can reduce how much pollution they breathe in during exercise.
