New registry tracks GORE stents in tough aortic aneurysm cases
NCT ID NCT07480395
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This registry will follow 400 people with complex aortic aneurysms who are treated with GORE devices that help keep blood flowing to vital organs. The goal is to see how well the devices work and how safe they are in everyday medical practice. Participants must need at least one stent to maintain blood flow to a kidney or other abdominal organ.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
- Active substance
- GORE VIABAHN VBX balloon expandable endoprosthesis (a stent graft device)
- What this could lead to
- If successful, this registry could provide real-world evidence on how well these devices work and how safe they are for treating complex aortic aneurysms.
- What could go wrong
- This is an observational registry, not a controlled trial, so it cannot prove cause and effect. Results may be influenced by differences in patient care or hospital practices.
