Summary

This study looks at whether a type of mental training called Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT) can help soldiers become more resilient to stress. About 600 soldiers from the Army's 3rd Security Force Assistance Brigade will either receive ACT or their usual training. Researchers will measure changes in coping skills over 16 months, including before and after deployment.
