New communication tool aims to give dementia patients a stronger voice in cancer care

Summary

This study tests a communication program called COACH-Cog for older adults who have both dementia and cancer. The goal is to help patients, their care partners, and doctors talk more openly about memory concerns and treatment goals. About 300 people will take part to see if the program improves decision-making and well-being.
