Can a simple body measurement predict endometriosis pain?

NCT ID NCT05951452

First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a physical measurement called anogenital distance (AGD) and certain hormones (testosterone and oxytocin) differ between women with severe endometriosis and those without the condition. Researchers will measure AGD, take blood and saliva samples, and ask about pain and quality of life. The goal is to better understand the origins of endometriosis, not to test a new treatment.
