Summary

This study investigates why endometriosis causes pelvic pain by measuring how the body processes heat, cold, and pressure. Researchers will also analyze hormone levels, immune markers, and genetic factors from blood, urine, saliva, and tissue samples. Participants are females aged 12–45 scheduled for laparoscopic surgery to diagnose or treat endometriosis. The goal is to identify factors that predict pain reduction after surgery and to better understand the biological mechanisms behind endometriosis pain.
