Cancer gene hunt: mapping tumors to personalize treatment

NCT ID NCT03460483

Summary

This study aimed to screen endometrial cancer patients for specific genetic changes in their tumors to better understand their disease. By testing over 1,000 patients, researchers looked for inherited cancer risks and genetic markers that could predict how well treatments might work. The goal was to use this genetic information to create more personalized care plans and identify family members who might also be at risk.
