New program aims to ease the burden on schizophrenia caregivers

Summary

This study tests a 6-week in-person program for primary caregivers of people with schizophrenia. The program teaches coping skills and provides support to reduce caregiver stress, improve mental well-being, and boost self-confidence. About 66 caregivers will participate to see if the program helps them feel less overwhelmed and more capable.
