Summary

This study looked at how parents cope emotionally after their child is hospitalized in intensive care for a severe injury. Researchers checked for signs of anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress in 62 parents, 3 to 6 months after the child left the ICU. The goal was to understand the emotional toll on families, not to test a treatment.
