First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looks at how getting a positive urine culture result impacts stress levels and bladder symptoms in women who have frequent urinary tract infections (UTIs). Researchers will also compare women with and without interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrome (IC/BPS) to see if they react differently. The goal is to better understand the emotional side of recurrent UTIs and improve how doctors counsel and support these patients.
