Summary

This study aimed to test a medication called BXCL501, a small dissolving film placed under the tongue, for quickly calming severe agitation in adults with bipolar disorder or schizophrenia arriving at the emergency department. The goal was to see how well and safely it worked in this real-world setting compared to its standard use. The trial was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
