Can eye movement therapy ease trauma in thyroid cancer patients?

Summary

This study tests a therapy called EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) to see if it can reduce post-traumatic stress and emotional distress in people with advanced thyroid cancer. About 25 participants will receive both group and individual EMDR sessions. The goal is to find out if this approach is helpful and practical for cancer patients dealing with trauma.
