NCT ID NCT06542744
First seen May 10, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether a device called Emagina, which uses a small balloon to gently stretch the perineum during pregnancy, can make childbirth easier and reduce tears. About 88 first-time mothers will either use the device or receive standard care. The goal is to see if the training improves flexibility and lowers the need for stitches or episiotomies.
