NCT ID NCT05431010
Summary
This study is testing whether adding electroacupuncture to standard rehabilitation training can better improve walking ability in older adults with sarcopenia, a condition of age-related muscle loss and weakness. It will enroll 120 participants who will either receive rehab training alone or rehab plus electroacupuncture for 12 weeks. The main goal is to see if the combination helps people walk farther and more easily, and improves leg muscle strength and size.
