Summary
This study tested two different electroacupuncture waveforms (continuous vs. intermittent) in 120 adults with Bell palsy, a condition causing sudden facial weakness. Participants had moderate to severe symptoms and had already taken standard steroid treatment. The goal was to see which waveform better improves facial nerve function and quality of life.
