NCT ID NCT03797183

First seen Nov 14, 2025 · Last updated May 30, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study is testing a new imaging device called Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) that uses harmless electrical currents to create pictures of the lungs, without any radiation. Researchers want to see if it can help monitor lung function in children with chronic breathing conditions like bronchopulmonary dysplasia or neuromuscular diseases. Participants will undergo EIT scans during their standard medical care. The goal is to gather information, not to treat any disease.
