New hope for tough leukemia: experimental drug eganelisib enters human trials

Summary
This early-phase study tests an experimental drug called eganelisib, given alone or with standard chemotherapy (cytarabine), in adults whose acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or high-risk myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) have returned or not responded to prior treatment. The main goals are to check the drug's safety, find the best dose, and see if it helps control the disease. About 125 participants will take part across multiple centers.
