New drug aims to help those who remain obese after weight-loss surgery

Summary

This study tests if the drug efsubaglutide alfa can help people who are still obese 6 months after metabolic surgery lose more weight. About 60 adults aged 18-55 with a BMI of 28 or higher will receive either the drug or a placebo. The main goal is to see how much weight they lose and if the drug is safe.
